Level-1B Granule Images Help Date Selection Menu The java-based date selection menu (to the left) is expandable and collapsible. Click on an individual month (e.g.: "March") to expand the available date menu. If another month is already expanded, the date selection menu for that month will collapse when a new month is selected to expand. The menu was designed this way to keep the menu from getting too long and unwieldy. One may also collapse and expand individual years (e.g.: "2000") in the same way. Note that only individual dates (e.g.: "1st", "20th", etc.) are linked to image pages. MODIS Orbit Track Maps The MODIS Predicted Orbit Track Maps are created by the Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Orbit track maps are offered on global and regional projections. Click on any thumbnail map to load full-resolution version in a floating window. MODIS overpass times (in UTC, Universal Time Code) are marked on each image. Match the UTC overpass time in the area of interest with the UTC time tags to the right of each thumbnail Level-1B Granule Image. MODIS L1B Granule Images These RGB images were created by assigning MODIS Spectral Band 1 to the Red gun, Band 4 to the Green gun, and Band 3 to the Blue gun.
